Virgin Games commence mobile gaming with Microgaming

Not only will Virgin Games be venturing into the mobile gaming sector, but they will also be doing so in style, as they announce that they will teaming up with one of the gaming industry's top software developers, Microgaming – for now, the new Virgin Mobile casino will be making use of the company's renowned 'QuickFire' gaming platform.
CEO of Virgin Games, Simon Burridge, made it known that the decision had been made to team up with Microgaming due to 'intense customer demand'; he also highlighted the fact that over 40% of the adult population of the United Kingdom now owned some kind of smartphone devise. Mr Burridge also commented on the fact that he believes Virgin Casino customers will now be able to transfer all the functionality of their PC versions of Virgin Casino straight onto their handheld systems. The head of Virgin Games finished off his analysis by pointing out that the mobile gaming market is the fastest growing of all gambling related markets; Virgin Casino believe it is the right time for them to dive into this highly competitive market.
While it is clear that Virgin Casino are happy with their latest venture, Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever, also had some comments to make regarding the new partnership: "In the past, we have seen joint success with our QuickFire partnership with Virgin Games so we are confident that together we can seize all the opportunities the mobile gaming market currently presents to providers."
