Bodog looks set for big things during 2012
Although Bodog is a well recognised and respected name in the online gaming industry, it appears as though the company is preparing to take things to the 'next level' during 2012...
There have been several reports that suggest that Bodog is aiming to step up both its marketing and franchising schemes during the year ahead, in an attempt to become the most recognised name in the world of online gambling. The ambitious plans have been discussed by the company's new chief of marketing Dee Dutta. Dutta has discussed the company's plans in various industry related publications, including the highly respected 'Marketing Week'; Dutta has claimed that Bodog are planning to bring out a host of new services to their customers during 2012 – there has also been talk of these plans being supported by a multi-million pound advertising campaign, which aims to put 'Bodog' on the lips of every online gambler.
Bodog have outlined the fact that they want to increase their market share within the United Kingdom; however, this will not be easily achieved, as the gambling market within the United Kingdom is highly competitive, with companies such as William Hill and Ladbrokes having already attained significant shares in the market. Despite this, 'Bodog Europe' is already well and truly in the pipeline for next year, with three licenses having already been granted by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. It is widely anticipated that Bodog Europe will go live during the early months of 2012; the new Bodog ventures is expected to be a state of the art affair, offering such innovative services such as a 'Live Dealer' and cutting edge banking methods.
“The key thing is to develop trust with the UK customer. This is one of the most important things for the industry," commented Dutta.
