Golden Lounge casino acquired by online gaming brand 32Red

After acquiring European-focused casino Nedplay last month, 32Red are on a roll and have now announced that they have acquired the online casino Golden Lounge.

In the arrangements for both casinos the online gaming operator 32Red acquired the player database, software agreements, domain names and other intellectual property for a nominal consideration.

The Nedplay and Golden lounge acquisitions in terms of sole liabilities assumed by the company are in respect of player balances, totalling £115,000

32Red CEO Ed Ware said: “Both deals were compelling and similar in many ways and we expect to be able to integrate both casinos smoothly and quickly into our platform”

The acquisition of both casinos strengthens 32Red’s casino profile and may also attract more European players as they are both traditionally European focused sites.

“At this stage, it is too early to assess whether the acquisitions will be earnings enhancing in 2010, but they are a good fit as both casinos have historically focused on European territories away from the UK, whereas 32Red continues to be a UK-centric brand.” Mr. Ware added.

The 32Red family now includes the 32Red casino site, Nedplay, DashCasino and now Golden Lounge casino.

CEO Ed Ware also said that they will now look at updating both sites: “We will now apply our award-winning levels of player support, operational discipline and marketing to both brands in the coming months, ahead of evaluating the total number of brands operated by 32Red Plc. The sector continues to evolve quickly and 32Red remain committed to capitalising on suitable opportunities that may present themselves.”
